How to create an invoice

Creating a professional invoice takes about a minute:

• Choose Invoice, Receipt or Quotation from the mode selector at the top
• Enter a document number — a prefix and number are generated for you
• Set the issue date, and the due date (invoices) or valid-until date (quotations)
• Pick the document status: Due, Pending or Paid
• Select your currency — USD, EUR, GBP, MYR, JPY, INR and more
• Add your business name and details, then the client's name and details
• Add line items with descriptions, quantities and unit prices
• Apply an optional discount percentage and tax percentage
• Add a payment note, then print or save as PDF

The totals — subtotal, discount, tax and grand total — recalculate instantly as you type, so there are no arithmetic surprises at the end.
